History

Branch 3 of the Faculty of Science was established under Decree No. 5591 of 22 September 1982, and included four departments.
New departments were opened later in the Branch with a variety of specializations in the Bachelor and Master's programs, and research labs were established to keep pace with scientific development.
In 2019, the Faculty was relocated from Qibbe, Tripoli to President Michel Sleiman University Campus, RasMaska.
Halba Section is affiliated with the Faculty of Science - Branch 3, where first-year students study for a bachelor's degree in the faculty's specializations.
