Research Master in Natural Risks in Civil Engineering

The graduates in the different fields of the Faculty of Engineering contribute to addressing engineering and social challenges through innovative solutions. The Faculty also provides consulting engineering services to public and private institutions, develops theoretical and applied educational programs, and supports research projects.

Research Master

Description

Joint Master with the Université Grenoble Alpes, France

 

This one-year program trains the students to master the tools needed to identify natural hazards and advanced knowledge in soil dynamics and related mechanical phenomena, as well as to analyze and interpret geophysical data and seismic studies.

 

The training combines both theoretical and practical approaches, and provides a set of multifunctional skills for various natural hazards.

Requirements

  • Holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the Lebanese University or the equivalent thereof
  • File study
  • Oral interview

 

Excellent students in the 5th year of the Faculty of Engineering at the Lebanese University majoring in Civil Engineering, may apply for this program.
