The Faculty of Medical Sciences provides skilled, professional and ethical physicians in all medical specializations. The Faculty produces scientific and experimental studies in line with the medical development, by means of the research activities conducted by professors, students and the Neuroscience Research Center and the Medical Research Centre affiliated thereto.

Research Master

Description

This master's program aims to study how the brain works from a neurobiological perspective, focusing on advanced research in brain function and neural mechanisms.

This master's program is intended for holders of degrees in science, health sciences, or medical sciences, and prepares students to pursue a PhD or advanced research paths.

 

This master's degree provides graduates with:

  • Advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts and topics in neuroscience
  • Experience in theoretical and laboratory research methods
  • Skills in critical analysis and interpretation of data in a neuroscience context

Requirements

General conditions + special conditions

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

or

  • Medical degree (MD)
  • Transcript of years of specialization, in addition to proof of completion
  • Review of application (CV + motivation letter)
  • Fluency in English

  • New civil status record or certified copy thereof/or certified copy of ID/for Lebanese students
  • Valid residency certified by the Lebanese General Security/for foreign students
  • Two certified passport photos
  • Stamp worth LBP 50,000
