Professional Master in Litigation, Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences provides the public and private sectors in Lebanon with legal and administrative human resources. The Faculty concludes scientific exchange agreements with European and Arab universities and internal agreements with renowned organizations such as the Lebanese Army.

Professional Master

Description

This Master's program is intended for students who wish to enter the legal and litigation professions, such as:

  1. Legal and dispute resolution services in public and private sectors;
  2. Legal and/or litigation departments within companies and financial institutions;
  3. Arbitration centers and chambers and/or negotiation, mediation and conciliation centers;
  4. Legal and/or dispute resolution departments within central administrations and public institutions and authorities;
  5. Independent professions: lawyer, notary, clerk, etc.
  6. Judicial bodies and public sector, etc.

Requirements

General conditions + special conditions:

  1. Holding a law degree or its equivalent, with a general average of at least 10/20 for students of the Lebanese University or Saint Joseph University of Beirut, and 12/20 for students from other institutions.
  2. Completing the first year of the Master's degree in Law or a parallel specialization at the Lebanese University or other institutions, on condition of accumulating at least 48 credits (ECTS).
  3. All candidates are subject to an oral interview and a written test in French.
  4. File study, including achievements and motivation letter.
