Master in Oral Surgery

The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.

Description

This master's program (3 years) is aimed at dental graduates who wish to specialize in this field, and three residents are accepted annually.

 

Residents are trained to perform simple oral surgeries under the supervision of medical staff using local or general anesthesia. The program includes clinical research in oral surgery under the supervision of faculty members and covers topics such as oral and facial pain, mucosal diseases, impacted teeth, dental implants, oral and facial anatomy, and maxillary sinus augmentation.

Requirements

General conditions + special conditions:

  • Students who hold a Diploma of Dental Surgeon from the Lebanese University or any other recognized university are eligible to apply for admission to this master's program.
  • Duly certified individual civil status record
  • Duly certified Diploma of Dental Surgeon
  • License to practice the profession
  • Two passport photos
  • Certified copy of the second section of the baccalaureate certificate (in accordance with the regulations)
