Master of science in pediatric dentistry and public health

The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.

Description

This master's program is aimed at dentistry graduates who wish to specialize in this field. It is a three-year full-time program that accepts six residents annually.

 

Students acquire academic knowledge through lectures and multidisciplinary clinics and learn research and scientific evaluation skills.

 

Residents are required to complete clinical research under the supervision of the faculty, and one student is assigned to a master's thesis.

 

The master's degree is awarded after fulfilling all the requirements of the Lebanese University, with a focus on practical application in community medicine.

Requirements

  • Students who hold a Diploma in Dental Surgeon from the Lebanese University or any other recognized university are eligible to apply for this master's program.
  • Duly certified individual transcript
  • Duly certified diploma in dental surgery
  • License to practice the profession
  • Two passport photos
  • Certified copy of the second section of the baccalaureate certificate (in accordance with the regulations)
