Master of Science in Periodontology
The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.
Description
This three-year program is designed for dental graduates who wish to specialize in periodontics. It aims to qualify them to become competent specialists in the field through integrated scientific and practical training.
The program covers the study of hard and soft tissues supporting the teeth and aims to develop critical thinking and professionalism in periodontal techniques and surgical dental implants, as well as an understanding of the overlap between medicine and dentistry to ensure long-term patient care.
This master's degree is based on theoretical and clinical education, and residents are required to complete clinical research and a thesis.
