Professional Master in Pharmaceutical Industry

The Faculty of Pharmacy provides graduates with an experienced knowledge of medicinal and therapeutic properties of drugs and drug formulations for the treatment of diseases. The Faculty grants a Doctorate Degree in practicing pharmacy and a professional and research master’s degrees in various pharmaceutical specializations.

Description

This program provides deep knowledge in fundamental pharmaceutical sciences and prepares graduates to take on responsibilities associated with various industrial functions such as drug product design, drug quality control and analysis. It also provides advanced practical experience and training in licensed pharmaceutical factories, which provides an opportunity to conduct an in-depth research project as part of an active research group selected by the student.

Requirements

General + special conditions:

  • Holding a degree in Pharmacy from the Lebanese University with an average of at least 12/20;

or

  • Holding a degree in Pharmacy from another university with an average of at least 14/20, provided that the theoretical courses are made equivalent with Y1 courses of this Master determined by the Faculty of Pharmacy;

or

  • Succeeding in Y1 of the Master of Biochemistry, the path of a pharmaceutical industry, from the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University, after the equivalence of the basic theoretical courses of the pharmaceutical industry with Y1 courses of this Master determined by the Faculty of Pharmacy;
  • Oral interview
