Master in Forensic Dentistry, Anthropology and Human Identification

The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.

Description

This master's program aims to train specialists in forensic dentistry by providing them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the application of dental science in judicial and humanitarian fields.
The program focuses on human identification, age estimation, the study of dental and bite marks, and the analysis of oral injuries in criminal cases and mass disasters, in addition to the principles of forensic anthropology and relevant legal legislation.
This master's degree is an interdisciplinary program that combines dentistry and forensic science, contributing to the advancement of justice, scientific research, and community service.

General + special conditions:

  • Holding a diploma in dental surgery from the Lebanese University or any other recognized university
  •  Passing the entrance exam
