For the disbursement and payment of dues to employees working at the Lebanese University who have completed their full required hours during the first and second semesters of 2019 (the first six months of the year), all deans, branches, and centers of the Lebanese University are requested to adopt the following process:
The branches and centers affiliated with the university faculty shall send to the secretariat the draft reconciliation contracts for employees working in these branches and centers who have completed the full hours required of them during the first and second semesters of 2019. The secretariat shall, in turn, submit them to the presidency by 22 July 2019 at the latest.
When preparing reconciliation contracts referred to above, the following matters should be taken into account:
1- Separate the draft reconciliation contracts for employees whose entitlements exceed 15 million Lebanese pounds (annual contract exceeding 720 hours) from the draft reconciliation contracts for those whose entitlements are less than 15 million Lebanese pounds.
2- The hourly training wage is LBP 40,000 based on Decision No. 371/M/2018 dated 10/4/2018 issued by His Excellency the Minister of Education & Higher Education and His Excellency the Minister of Finance.
3- Individual reconciliation contracts should not be sent for any reason.
4- The need to preserve the rights of female employees who will benefit from maternity leave.
5- The Sports Activities Department at the Lebanese University shall prepare draft reconciliation contracts for sports coaches who have completed all required hours and submit them to the Central Administration by 30 September 2019 at the latest.
