The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.
Research Center
Description
The Research Center was established by the decree regulating academic and clinical promotion at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2018, with the following objectives:
- Supervise, support, and guide research projects and researchers at the faculty
- Connect researchers with international institutions
- Follow up on funding sources and corporate support
- Review submitted articles and research projects
- Coordinate with the Central Ethics Committee at the Lebanese University
- Design and implement a research strategy for the Faculty of Dental Medicine
