The Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences provides the public and private sectors in Lebanon with legal and administrative human resources. The Faculty concludes scientific exchange agreements with European and Arab universities and internal agreements with renowned organizations such as the Lebanese Army.

Center Structure

The Center's structure consists of four units operating under the supervision of the Dean of the faculty, namely:

  1. The Center's Head Office, consisting of:

- A Head with the rank of Professor or who meets the requirements for this rank.

- A Deputy Head from among the Heads of Departments in the Center

 

The Head is appointed by a decision of the University President based on a proposal from the Dean, and the Deputy Head is appointed by a decision of the Dean based on a proposal from the Head of the Center (for a term of three years, renewable once).

 

  1. The Scientific Board, consisting of:

- Head of the Center/Chair

- Deputy Head of the Center/Deputy Chair of the Board

- Heads of scientific departments at the Center/members

 

  1. Administrative Unit

An administrative employee appointed by the Dean after consulting with the Head of the Center from among the faculty staff shall supervise the administrative work at the Center and perform his duties in accordance with the rules set by the Head of the Center.

 

Administrative work, documentation, clerical work, and secretarial work are carried out by employees appointed by the Dean from among the faculty staff after consulting with the Center Director. Tasks are distributed among them by a memorandum issued by the Center Director.
