Scientific Qualifications

  • PhD in Public Law from the University of Paris X - Nanterre in 2006;
  • Master in European Law from the University of Montpellier in 2001;
  • Bachelor in Private Law from the University of Montpellier in 2000.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (French Section) in 2008;
  • Assigned the duties of Deanship of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences as of 15 May 2023;
  • Head of the Private Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (French Section) since 2015;
  • Member of the Administrative and Organizational Committee at the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (French Section) between 2015-2018;
  • Director of the Legal Informatics Center at the Lebanese University between 2012-2013;
  • Head of the Law Department at the Center for Legal Informatics at the Lebanese University between 2010-2011;
  • Associate professor in training courses for the Lebanese University and NGOs (Humanitarian Law, Refugee Law, Human Rights, and International and Regional Entrepreneurship) between 2019-2022;
  • International arbitrator in the Shanghai Arbitration Committee - China since 2021;
  • Legal, academic and commercial advisor in a number of local, regional and international organizations and companies;
  • Former lecturer at the University of Picardie Jules Verne – Amiens;

  • Author of large collection of research published locally and internationally in the field of law, trade, investment, digital trade, mediation systems, globalization, industrial competitiveness laws, dispute settlement systems, and the judicial system in Lebanon.
