- PhD in Political Sciences from Georgetown University - Washington in 1956;
- BA in Literature from Cairo University in 1945.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Information and the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences of the Lebanese University;
- Dean of the Faculty of Information between 1977-1984;
- Managed the Department of Documentation at the Faculty of Information and named the new faculty building in 1980 as “Information Tower”;
- Member of the Lebanese delegation to the United Nations General Assembly in 1959;
- Chargé d'Affairs at the Embassy of Lebanon in Washington between 1950-1956;
- Head of the Press & Cultural Affairs Departments in the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Emigrants between 1947-1950;
- Attaché to the Lebanese Commission in Paris between 1945-1946;
- Attaché to the Lebanese Commission in Istanbul in 1947;
- Former lecturer at several universities between Beirut and Egypt, including Cairo University, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the American University of Beirut and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik;
- Participated in the work of Arab and international organizations, and author of several books in Arabic and English;
Passed away in 1990.
