Master in Modern History from the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences at the Lebanese University in 1975;
Bachelor in History from the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences in 1973.

Professional Career

Dean of the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences of the Lebanese University between 2010-2012;
Member of the Council of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences between 1972-1975;
Contributed to the establishment of a number of branches of the faculties of the Lebanese University in North Lebanon;
Participated in leading the League of Full-time Professors at the Lebanese University between 1980-1994;
Rapporteur and Supervisor of a number of PhD dissertations, master theses and diplomas at the Lebanese University;
Member of the Executive Board of the Union of Lebanese Students in France between 1975-1979;
Contributed to the establishment and development of Annaba University (UBMA) in Algeria between 1976-1978;
Represented Lebanon in a number of local, regional and international conferences and author of several publications.
