  • PhD in International Economics & International Relations from Prague University of Economics (PUE) in 1991;
  • PhD in Economics/Economic Development from Prague University of Economics (PUE) 1987.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration of the Lebanese University in 1993 and obtained the rank of Professor in 2012;
  • Head of the Departments of Economics & Finance at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration (Branch 4) of the Lebanese University consecutively between 1996 and 2020;
  • Member of the Academic Council of the Doctoral School in Law, Political, Administrative & Economic Sciences of the Lebanese University in 2014;
  • Vice-President of the Executive Board of the Association of Full-time Professors at the Lebanese University between 1993 and 1996;
  • Member of the Central Committee of the UNESCO-funded continuous evaluation project of the Lebanese University funded in 2009;
  • Rapporteur and supervisor of +200 research and doctoral dissertations in economic sciences between 1994 and 2021;
  • Professor of International Economic Relations at the National Institute for Administration & Development of the Civil Service Council in Lebanon between 1993 and 1998;
  • Founder, President, Vice President and Secretary of the Association of Alumni of Universities and Institutes of the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 1993 and 2021;
  • Member of the National Assembly for Culture, Environment and Heritage in Lebanon since 2014;
  • Expert in economic feasibility studies for projects and economic and financial advisor between 1994 and 2021;
  • Registered at the Ministry of Economy & Trade a patent related to the "Lebanon Database" program in 2020;
  • Author of dozens of published research papers on sustainable development and public debt in Lebanon, economic analysis and decision-making, public-private partnerships, globalization and centers of the global economy, etc.
