- PhD in Nutrition Sciences & Food Genetics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2013.
- Master in Nutrition Sciences from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2009.
- Bachelor in Nutritional Sciences from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2007.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health of the Lebanese University in 2013 and holder of the rank of professor in 2019.
- Coordinator of the master’s in clinical nutrition & public health and Head of the Nutrition & Dietetics Department at the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 1) at the Lebanese University.
- Member of the National Scientific Committee for Food Safety of the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon since 2021.
- Consultant specialized in nutrition projects with the World Health Organization - Eastern Mediterranean Region (WHO-EMRO) since 2020.
- Member of a number of international projects and initiatives concerned with monitoring women's health, diets and Covid-19 repercussions since 2020.
- Expert in studying food composition table / first food composition in the Middle East in cooperation with WHO between 2018-2019.
- Coordinator and Research Assistant at IOF between 2009-2013.
- Coordinator with Saint Joseph University of Beirut and UNIDO - ESCWA regarding Hazard Analysis & Control Points (HACCP) and ISO between 2007-2008.
- Founder and Director of the Public Health Nutrition program-Lebanon (PHENOL).
- Author of private and joint research studies with local and international organizations on food security, improving a healthy lifestyle, nutritional supplements, health of pregnant women, repercussions of Covid-19, etc.
