  • PhD in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University in 2006;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Social Sciences from the Institute of Social Sciences at the Lebanese University in 2002;
  • Merit in Social Sciences from the Institute of Social Sciences in 1999;
  • BA in Social Sciences from the Institute of Social Sciences in 1998;
  • Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the Canadian Center for Human Development in 2009;
  • Diploma in the Art of Decision-Making from the Canadian Center for Human Development in 2009;
  • Certificate in developing the capabilities of associations and organizations on digital governance from the Digital Governance Academy in Estonia.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration and the Institute of Social Sciences in 2007;
  • Promoted to the rank of Professor in 2015;
  • Assigned the duties of managing the Institute of Social Sciences (Branch 5) as of 1 November 2023;
  • Advisor to the President of the Lebanese University for Foreign Affairs/International Relations Office since 2021;
  • Professor at the Fouad Shehab Command and Staff College/Lebanese Army;
  • Member of the Academic Technical Committee in Higher Education at the Ministry of Education & Higher Education in Lebanon;
  • Member of the General Planning Commission for the Development of the Lebanese Curriculum at the Educational Center for Research and Development;
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Lebanese National Library;
  • Certified expert in parliamentary committee sessions in the Lebanese Parliament;
  • Advisor to the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs in the Lebanese Parliament between 2012-2020;
  • General Coordinator of the Digital Transformation & Governance Network in Lebanon;
  • Member of advisory bodies and scientific committees for a number of peer-reviewed scientific journals locally and internationally;
  • Supervisor and rapporteur of PhD dissertations and master theses in his field of expertise;
