  • Merit in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1979.
  • Bachelor in Philosophy & Education from the Faculty of Pedagogy in 1979.
  • Bachelor in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1978.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy in 1994.
  • Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy between 2014-2020.
  • Director of the Faculty of Faculty of Pedagogy (Branch 2) between 2007-2014.
  • Coordinator of the Master of Educational Administration at the Faculty of Pedagogy between 2009-2010.
  • Member of a number of committees of the Faculty of Pedagogy between 1997-2013.
  • Member of the Scientific Council at the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences between 2012-2015.
  • Coordinator of the "Strategic Development" Committee at the Lebanese University between 2013-2014.
  • Founding member of the Association of Friends of the Lebanese University "AULIB".
  • Lecturer at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, and the University of Paris IV (before she completed her studies at the Lebanese University).
  • Consultant in Education, Economics and Educational Planning at the World Bank and the Ministry of Education & Higher Education in Lebanon between 1997-2003.
  • Official advisory and research missions with several international organizations, including the World Bank, UNESCO, the French Ministry of Education, the Iraqi Ministry of Education, Caritas / Austria and USAID.
  • In charge of the economic and social files of the Arab countries in the "Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal" magazine in Beirut between 1979-1981.
  • In charge of the economic files and public relations with Arab economic institutions operating in Europe in "Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal" magazine between 1981-1982.
  • Author of dozens of published research papers on education in Lebanon, women and education, sustainable development and social justice, and the economics of education in the creative economy.

 

Passed away in December 2021.
