HCERES extends the unconditional accreditation of the Lebanese University until the end of 2023
The High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) extended the unconditional institutional accreditation of the Lebanese University until the end of 2023 after granting it in 2018 for a period of three years.
The Lebanese University began the accreditation process in 2016 in an effort to keep pace with scientific and technological developments around the world.
HCERES relied in its decision on a number of indicators, most notably the Lebanese University’s commitment to developing curricula to ensure the quality of educational programs. This year, a number of its faculties obtained accreditation for their programs from HCERES and other specialized international academic institutions.
The accreditation, which recognizes the university's position and presence at the national, regional and international levels, is further evidence of the good performance of the Lebanese University. It reflects its continuous presence in its community and its promotion of a culture of quality and leadership in its various academic and scientific programs and activities.
HCERES is an official institution approved by the French government for the evaluation and accreditation of various higher education institutions in France. It is also a European and international accredited institution.
