The FMS organizes a welcome day for new students (2025-2026)
The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), in collaboration with the Heartbeat Club student club, organized a welcome day for new students (2025-2026) under the title:
FMS–LU Welcome Day | Learn • Serve • Lead
The meeting took place in the main hall of the faculty in the presence of Dean Saada Alame, Accreditation Coordinator and Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee Dr. Inam Nasrallah, Secretary Lina Roukoz, Head of Student Affairs Jocelyne Aoun, and the heads of the administrative departments.
The meeting began with a speech by Dr. Alame, in which she welcomed the new students and emphasized the importance of the major they had chosen and the academic and personal commitment it requires.
Ms. Roukoz then presented the main points of the faculty's internal regulations and the academic and organizational rules that constitute the general framework of university life, while Ms. Aoun gave a detailed explanation of the registration mechanisms and administrative procedures related to the students' academic career.
For his part, Dr. Nasrallah briefly presented the faculty's vision, mission, and values, and reviewed the progress made in the international accreditation process, its strategic dimensions, and its importance in strengthening the faculty's academic position at the local and international levels.
Next, the president of the Heartbeat Club, Ali Salloum, presented the club and its activities, reviewing its achievements during the past academic year and its role in promoting university life and student participation in the faculty's academic accreditation process.
The meeting included an academic symposium attended by several outstanding students from the class of 2024-2025, who shared their university experiences and gave practical advice to their new classmates on how to excel and succeed in their university studies.
The winner of the entrance exam was also honored for his excellence and distinction.
