Arab sports responsibilities assigned to Dr. Bachir Abdel Khalek of the FP
The Arab Federation for Sports for Persons with Disabilities has chosen Dr. Bachir Abdel Khalek, professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports and coordinator of the master's program in sports management at the Faculty of Pedagogy (FP), to assume responsibility for Paralympic football within the technical and competitions committee.
The Arab Federation has launched a series of programs in the field of Paralympic games and competitions with the aim of developing the Arab level, in addition to introducing new activities and games.
The technical committee has been tasked with developing and activating competitions. It includes experts, including Dr. Abdel Khalek, who is active at the local and international levels and has extensive experience in the field of sports for people with disabilities.
The technical committee will implement programs aimed at promoting football among different categories by organizing courses and workshops for technical and administrative staff involved in the sport.
In addition, the West Asian Paralympic Federation has selected Dr. Abdel Khalek as one of the speakers for the “Diploma in Sports Management and Organization in the Paralympic Movement” program, whose seminars and workshops began on 4 December and will continue until 4 February 2026.

15 January 2026: The role of media and sports marketing in the dissemination and development of the Paralympic movement
