The Faculty of Pedagogy dominates sprint races at the Lebanese University
The Rafik Hariri University track in Hadath hosted athletics competitions for the Lebanese University national team, with the participation of about 30 students from various faculties competing in the 100-meter (men) and 60-meter (women) races.
Female students from the Faculty of Pedagogy dominated the top three places in the 60-meter race, with the following results:
First place: Sara Najda
Second place: Zainab Fares
Third place: Fatima Ismail
In the men's 100-meter race, fractions of a second decided the winner in a fierce competition between the Faculties of Pedagogy and Information:
First place: Jamil Hatoum (Faculty of Pedagogy)
Second place: Hussein Souli (Faculty of Information)
Third place: Jad Fakih (Faculty of Economics & Business Administration)
The event was supervised by the head of Branches 1, coach Saleh Zeaiter and coach Amira Yaghi, who were assisted in refereeing by student Hussein Al-Rashiini (Faculty of Pedagogy), in addition to an organizational team of students.
These competitions aim to enhance the physical and technical readiness of the Lebanese University team in anticipation of upcoming sporting events.
