FFAA - Branch 1 participates in UNESCO activity on “Citizenship”
The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture - Branch 1 participated in an awareness activity organized by UNESCO in collaboration with the AUB on the occasion of World Education Day 2026, entitled: "The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education".
The activity, sponsored by First Lady Nehmat Aoun, included an art workshop on the concept of citizenship with the participation of fifteen educational institutions, while students Batoul Ashour and Vera Jeha represented the FFAA - Branch 1.
The two students, from the Department of Fine Arts, participated with two artworks that embodied the values of citizenship and belonging to Lebanon in a contemporary artistic language.
This participation affirms the commitment of the Lebanese University and the FFAA to their national role in promoting the values of citizenship and belonging through the arts in all their forms and supporting youth creativity and community participation.
