The 5th-year team wins the FMS basketball championship
The 5th-year team from the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) won the university basketball championship after beating the 4th-year “A” team by two points (76-74) in the final.
The 5th-year team consisted of: Zouheir Alawiye, Rayane Dandach, Hussein Harati, Radi Hamieh, Sami Kobrossi, Hadi Salloum, Mohammad Hussein, Issam Fayad, and Ahmad Abou Chakra.
The 4th-year team consisted of: Saïd Houmani, Jad Fayyad, Motassam Sayed, Raphaël Bou Nehme, Rafik Bdeir, Ali Salloum, and Khaled Al-Hajj.
The sports department coach, Dani Naanou, who was in charge of organizing and directing the games, presented the cups and medals to the winners.
