Scientific activity on “Updating research areas”

The Center for Educational Studies & Research (CERP) of the Faculty of Pedagogy (FPE) organized a scientific activity entitled "Updating research areas and defining research teams in laboratories", which was attended by several university department heads, specialized program coordinators, the director of Branch 2, Dr. Scarlett Sarraf, and a group of professors.

This activity is part of a strategic approach aimed at establishing a common frame of reference for the faculty's research areas, in line with the specific nature of educational research and its intersection with social issues and educational policies, and at establishing a common basis for organizing and integrating research efforts.

During the activity, participants divided into two groups to work on the research areas that had been previously discussed, debating their formulation and content. This was followed by a general discussion during which faculty members presented constructive comments and suggestions that helped guide the work toward a clearer vision of the proposed areas.

In conclusion, it was agreed to continue working on the research areas and to formulate them in a more integrated and comprehensive manner, in order to limit repetition and enhance clarity, and then to harmonize them with the four FPE-approved laboratories.

The laboratory coordinators also proposed names of research teams to work within these laboratories and carry out applied research projects, within the approved academic and institutional frameworks.
