The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration seeks to provide theoretical and applied programs with the aim of preparing highly qualified graduates in the fields of economics, finance, business and administration to meet the needs of the local and global market, serve the community, and encourage scientific, knowledge and entrepreneurial research.

One of the main objectives of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration of the Lebanese University is to pave the way for students to acquire scientific and cognitive achievement and prepare them on the higher education and professional levels.

Based on these objectives, the Faculty seeks to provide students with the scientific, methodological and technical expertise to assume leadership responsibility in establishing and managing institutions in both the public and private sectors. The Faculty also seeks to contribute to the comprehensive and integrated development of the Lebanese society, to enhance the cultural openness and expand the scientific and cultural cooperation on the international level.

Students of the Faculty benefit from a high-level multicultural and multilingual environment. In this regard, the Faculty grants the following certificates: the bachelor's degree, the professional master’s degree, the research master's degree in economics (financial economy, banking, international finance), and in business administration (accounting and auditing, finance, financial institutions, management, marketing, and computer management).

The Faculty is currently involved in expanding and developing partnerships with academic and professional institutions from the public and private sectors in Lebanon and abroad, due to the importance of developing the skills of teachers, staff and students. These partnerships focus on adding modern scientific specializations, namely at the master's level, based on the quality witnessed in the top faculties of economics and business administration; thus, enhancing its position as one of the most important faculties in Lebanon.

On the external level, the Faculty seeks to develop the relations through receiving elite professors from outside Lebanon to hold training courses, lectures or seminars, and by participating in scientific projects funded by the European Union (Erasmus+) and several joint researches conducted with local and international partners.

The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration believes that students are the foundation in building a productive and active society, based on the fact that respect, trust and responsibility are an integral part of any academic or professional path. Accordingly, the Faculty seeks to develop human and scientific competencies as well.
