Signing a cooperation agreement between CNAM and the Ministry of Information

The Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, and President Bassam Badran signed a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Information and the Higher Institute of Applied and Economic Sciences (CNAM), with the aim of activating “Radio Liban” website as a modern institution that continues its national role efficiently.

The signing took place on CNAM campus, opposite the sports city, in the presence of CNAM Director Dr. Cendrella Abou Fayad and members of the board of directors, Radio Liban Program Director Rita Noujaim El Roumi, Advisor to the Minister of Information Attorney Mohammad Ezzeddine, and a number of professors and students.

President Badran gave a speech in which he said that, like all higher education institutions, our foundation is cooperation with public administrations and institutions, and part of our mission is to do everything required of us towards public administrations and institutions.

He added that the importance of CNAM lies in the fact that its degree allows students to enter the job market directly and connect with companies and industrial institutions in Lebanon. He considers it one of the most important educational institutions in Lebanon, in terms of its direct link to the job market and its great success, as is the case with the Lebanese University.

Minister Morcos emphasized that this agreement is part of a clear vision to develop Radio Liban by leveraging scientific capabilities and national expertise and keeping pace with the digital transformation in a professional and robust manner.

He explained that the cooperation will enable the involvement of technical students in supporting the maintenance department, conducting engineering surveys, and preparing reports and an upgrade plan based on international standards, under the supervision of the ministry.

He noted that this partnership will transform academic knowledge into practical applications that serve the official media facility, with the Ministry providing the appropriate professional environment, technical references, and specialized supervision, in addition to granting official experience certificates to participants, within a clear academic and technical framework that preserves confidentiality and does not impose any financial burdens on the state.
