This program develops the skills of students to solve contemporary accounting problems faced by all areas of business, and qualifies them for positions in public accounting, such as external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants, as well as in private accounting roles, such as chief financial officers, financial analysts, internal auditors and controllers.

It also allows students to become "Chartered Accountants", a certified public auditor, covering all theoretical and practical aspects of collecting, classifying, summarizing, analyzing and using financial data in organizations.

First: Admission to the first year

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Auditing from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
• Students of the following majors (management, marketing, management informatics, finance, accounting) who have completed the bachelor’s degree, are allowed to change to management or marketing in M1, provided they pass the CEE. They are also allowed later to apply exclusively to professional M2, and they are not allowed to apply for the research master;
• Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Auditing from other universities.

Second: Admission to the second year

• Students of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration who succeed in their M1 (among the first 35%) are exempt from the CEE;
• Remaining students from inside or outside the Faculty within the aforementioned specialization are subject to a CEE or conditions determined annually by the Faculty Council.

This program focuses on knowing, understanding, and identifying consumer needs and desires, studying market trends, developing the promotion of product, services and trademarks, and creating appropriate marketing strategies.

The courses of this program are based on a number of objectives, the most important of which are:

1. Marketing intelligence
2. Studying and predicting consumer behavior
3. Conducting quantitative and qualitative marketing research
4. Identifying market trends to build and maintain successful customer relationships

This major provides students with a specialized understanding of all areas of finance spanning corporate finance, investments, financial institutions, markets, and international finance.

Through this program, the student acquires the following skills:

Accounting and auditing are the processes of recording, analyzing and classifying financial statements in order to obtain financial information that helps the management to make necessary decisions.

The accounting and auditing major provides students the know-how to:

1. Record all kinds of accounting entries to monitor financial and economic transactions related to all types of organizations;
2. Calculate costs, profits, expenses and other accounting values and evaluate financial and operating activities;
3. Comply with Lebanese tax laws and policies;
4. Establish companies, maintain, analyze and study budgets and all types of account financial statements, in addition to preparing the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement;
5. Develop an audit methodology that includes audit tools and techniques, sampling, planning and risk calculation.
