Student Ali Hosseini wins the “Speed Chess Championship”
The Faculty of Science (Branch 1) won the Speed Chess Championship, which was organized in the Rafik Hariri University Campus - Hadath, with the participation of 16 players who represented the faculties of law, political and administrative sciences, science, engineering, medical sciences, economics and business administration, and fine arts and architecture.
The tournament included 5 rounds of 10 minutes each, with an addition of 3 seconds for each move, and student Ali Hosseini (Faculty of Science - Branch 1) won the title scoring 4.5 points.
The organization was supervised by the officer in charge of the chess game at the Lebanese University, the international referee Elias Khairallah, with the assistance of coach, Amira Yaghi.
