The FLHS launches the scientific research curriculum guides in the presence of President Badran
Under the patronage and presence of President Bassam Badran, the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (FLHS) launched the scientific research curriculum guides in its majors, in a ceremony organized on 15 July 2022 at the Central Administration.
The ceremony was attended by the FLHS Dean, Professor Ahmad Rabah, the directors of the faculty branches and coordinators of the committees for developing scientific research curriculum guides.
Dr. Rima Mawloud inaugurated the ceremony and emphasized the importance of evidence and its essential role in developing scientific research in the various departments of the faculty.
Dr. Maha Al-Masri, Director of Branch 5, spoke on behalf of the branch directors, and indicated that such evidence represented the result of tremendous efforts accomplished by a number of teaching staff over three years, despite the difficult circumstances.
Dr. Marwan Abi Fadel, on behalf of the Curriculum Guides Committee coordinators, delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the FLHS began applying its updated and developed curricula at the beginning of this year, and that it was necessary to develop them to ensure the quality of research.
Dean Rabah pointed out the importance of scientific research and innovation, and that the guides for scientific research curricula prepared by the teaching staff from all departments and majors were completed successively in a project that included all departments.
President Badran pointed out the difficult situation the university is going through, and that he has spared no effort since assuming his duties to obtain support. He stressed the need for the authorities to hear the calls of the university’s professors, students and employees because any continuation without financial support is impossible.
