Appointment of Professor Elham Saliba as Director of FLHS (Branch 4)
President Bassam Badran appointed Professor Elham Saliba as Director of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 4), as of 4 July 2022.
Professor Saliba holds a PhD in Arabic Language & Literature from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a BA in Arabic Language & Literature from the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences at the Lebanese University.
She began teaching at the FLHS (Branch 4) in 2011. She is a member of the Committee for Scientific Exchange Affairs between the Lebanese University and universities and cultural centers in Lebanon and a member of the Committee for accepting master’s thesis projects at the FLHS since 2016.
She has previously taught in a number of private universities and public and private high schools. She is also a translator affiliated with the Association of European Translators, and is the author of a collection of published literary works and translations.
