Students in the FLPAS (French section) win top honors at Aix-Marseille University
Students from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (French section) have topped the M2 ranking at Aix-Marseille University in France. The results were announced at the Marie Marvingt graduation ceremony (2023-2024) in the presence of Dr. Sarwat Zahr and the following people:
- Mrs. Chantal Arens / First President of the Court of Cassation in France and sponsor of the class;
- Mr. Vincent Mazeaud/Vice-Dean;
- Mrs. Isabelle Grossi/Director, IDA;
- Mr. Claude Matz/Associate Director of IDA.
Léa El Chami was promoted to first in her M2 “Intellectual Property & Advanced Technologies” class and received a prize from Braunstein and a prize from Lexis Nexis Editions.
Maria Al Arab was promoted to first in her M2 “International Business Law” class and received 3 valuable prizes:
- Nestlé France Prize
- French Association of Corporate Lawyers Award
- Éditions Lexix Nexis Prize
Jana Yassine was promoted to first in her M2 “Legal Counsel” class and received an award from ACE PACA.
Finally, Leticia Yamin was promoted to second in her M2 “Intellectual Property and Advanced Technologies” class, and received an award from the Regional Company of Statutory Auditors.
The director of French section, Dr. Sarwat Zahr, delivered a speech in which she praised the efforts and excellence of students, who succeed everywhere they go, despite the difficult circumstances Lebanon is going through.
