Explanatory statement

Statement issued by the Lebanese University Presidency

After reviewing what is circulating about the discussion of a master's thesis in psychology at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences at the Lebanese University.

 

Whereas the subject matter of the thesis contradicts the social values prevailing in the Lebanese society with all its components.

 

The President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, decided, exceptionally and in accordance with the university regulations, to suspend the decision to discuss the thesis and to invite the Council at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences to meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at the university presidency.
