Lebanese University wins second place in the Taekwondo Universities Championship

The LU Taekwondo team won second place in the team standings for the male category in the Universities Championship held at the Center for Innovation & Sports (CIS) campus of Saint Joseph University in Beirut, which also qualifies for the 2025 Universiade in Germany.

 

The Lebanese University team won 3 medals: Gold for Raphael Qudsi (Faculty of Dental Medicine), bronze for Chris Al-Chami/ Computer Science major at the Faculty of Science - Branch 2, and bronze for Rami Ibrahim/ Electromechanical Engineering major at CNAM.

 

The Lebanese Taekwondo Federation President Dr. Habib Zarifa participated in crowning the winners, and the Lebanese team was accompanied by Tania Daher, the team manager in charge of sports activity in the Branches 2, and Youssef Said, the coach in the Department of Sport Activity.
