FEBA - Branch 3 participates in a seminar on “Global Internal Auditing Standards”
The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration - Branch 3 participated in a workshop on "Global Internal Auditing Standards" organized by the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants in cooperation with Beirut Arab University - North Branch.
The faculty was represented by Dr. Maher Tahsaldar, Head of the Department of Accounting & Auditing, and Dr. Najwa Hakim.
The workshop opened with a welcoming speech by Mr. Fadi Al-Masri, a member of the Association Board of Directors, followed by a speech by Dr. Hani Al-Chaarani, Director of Beirut Arab University - North Branch, in which he stressed the importance of such initiatives in developing the professional skills of those working in the field of accounting and auditing.
The workshop was presented by Mr. Elie Safar, a certified internal auditor, who reviewed the key international standards and best professional practices.
