
Lebanese University ranks second in Muay Thai Universities Championship
The Lebanese University team won five gold medals and two silver medals at the Muay Thai Universities Championship. The championship was hosted by the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) and lasted more than 11 hours. The Lebanese University's advisor for sports affairs, Dr. Tarek Assaf, attended the event.
The Lebanese University team, led by sports official Dr. Youssef Chahine, came second in the overall standings with 51 points, topping the women's standings with 31 points and coming fourth in the men's standings with 20 points.
The winners of the medals were: Jinan Al-Hawli, Miziana Hadid, Mira Naim Aqil, Ranim Al-Rifai, Mahdi Zain, and Asaad Attieh.
