The Lebanese University advances in the world QS Ranking
The Lebanese University assessment scores further progressed in the QS ranking of world universities for the year 2023, ranking among the best 601-650 international universities after ranking among the best 701-750 in 2022 and 2021.
Among the 1,422 participating international academic institutions, the Lebanese University came among the top 43% ranking one hundred and eighty-ninth (189) in the Professional Reputation, which dedicates it among the most attractive international and regional universities for employers to hire their graduates.
The new classification, according to the "professional reputation" indicator, confirms that the Lebanese University students and graduates have the necessary competencies and skills needed by the labor market, as well as their commitment to creative thinking, the principle of community service, national responsibility and leadership.
In the QS ranking of universities at the level of education issued in April 2022, the Lebanese University ranked 390 globally in teaching all engineering and technology subjects, 201-230 in teaching arts and design, 251-300 in pharmacy, and 451-500 in medical sciences.
The Lebanese University ranked first in Lebanon in teaching petroleum engineering, advertising and design arts, and pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical sciences, and ranked second in informatics, chemical, electrical and electronic engineering, medical sciences and chemistry.
It is noteworthy that the numbers and ranks achieved by the Lebanese University were based on cumulative information during the last three years, noting that the other participating universities are classified according to information submitted five years ago.
