Professor Akram Hijazi and Dr. Boushra Ahmad register a patent in the field of industrial chemistry
Professor Akram Hijazi and Dr. Boushra Ahmad from the Faculty of Science and the Doctoral School of Science & Technology, in cooperation with Dr. Philippe Yvonne and Dr. Osman Merah from the University of Toulouse, France, registered a patent with the Ministry of Economy & Trade in Lebanon in the field of "Industrial Chemistry" entitled: “An innovative green technique for the manufacture of high-quality biodegradable panels from Lebanese fennel seed waste”.
The patent, which was registered with the Department of Intellectual Property Protection on 14 April 2021, relates to the development of an innovative green technology to manufacture high-quality biodegradable panels from the remains of Lebanese fennel seeds.
