Student Sally Moussa represents Lebanon in the “Youth Parliament of Morocco”
Student Sally Moussa (1st year - Master of Law) at the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, represents Lebanon in the 3rd legislative session of the Youth Parliament of Morocco, which opened via Zoom on 2 August 2021.
The current session discusses issues related to legal culture and gender equality and its importance in education, in addition to other matters related to Western Sahara and plans to examine the bills modifying the laws proposed by the participating committees.
Sally, who participates through the Arab Committee for Foreign Affairs & Defense, won in 2019 her project on "Women's Rights", which she submitted to the French Embassy in Beirut as part of a competition for Lebanon and the Arab world.
Sally’s project included ideas and suggestions that dealt with women's rights from the standpoint of strengthening their legal culture on the issues of the right to nationality, marriage of minors, and equality with men.
