Call for applications for the Eiffel scholarship program ending 8 January 2025
The Eiffel scholarship program has been developed by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract the best foreign students for Master's and PhD degree courses.
It is designed to train future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors, in priority fields of study, and to encourage applications from foreign students aged 27 or under for master's degrees, and 32 or under for doctorates.
Calendar session 2025
Please note that this timetable does not apply to students, who should contact their French establishment to find out their application deadline.
Call for applications opens: 1 October 2024
Webinar for institutions: early October
Deadline for institutions to submit applications to Campus France: 8 January 2025 inclusive
Announcement of results: winners and institutions will be informed of the results by e-mail in the 1st week of April 2025.

Selection
The Ministry of Europe & Foreign Affairs appoints experts to select the program's scholarship holders. Each expert is a teacher-researcher with a PhD, and has proven international experience. They are appointed for a non-renewable 4-year term.

Assessment of applications is based on evaluation grids. Click here for details of the grading grids for the Master's and Doctoral programs.

Only French higher education establishments can submit applications.
