Members of the academic staff wishing to run for the position of Dean and meeting the conditions stipulated in the third paragraph of Article 25 of Law 75/67, as amended by Law 66/2009, are invited to submit their nominations during the period between 10/3/2025 and 20/3/2025 inclusive, provided that the following procedures are followed:
1- The circular shall be published on the bulletin board of the teaching staff, and on the website of the faculty, branches and centers. The faculty secretary shall organize a record of this publication and send a copy thereof to the General Secretariat.
2- Applications for nomination shall be submitted in person to the deans of the university faculties, and applications for nomination to the Center for Deans of Doctoral Schols shall be submitted to the General Secretariat at the Central Administration.
3- After the expiration of the nomination deadline, the deans shall send in a sealed envelope all applications received with attachments (the candidate's curriculum vitae and the statement of holding the rank of professor or fulfilling the conditions for this rank) to the General Secretariat.
4- The General Secretariat organizes a list of the submitted applications within three days of receiving them and concludes by organizing a list of accepted candidates to be presented to the President of the University.
5- The list of accepted candidates shall be communicated to the Deanship of the faculty to be published on the bulletin board of the teaching staff in the deanship, branches and centers.
6- The list of accepted candidates can be objected to before the university president within three days from the date of publication, and the president decides on the objection within 48 hours.
7- After resolving the objections, if any, the final list of candidates, with attachments, shall be communicated to the Faculty Council.
8- The President of the University shall call for a session of the Faculty Council to select the five names.
9- The Faculty Council shall select the five candidates for the position of Dean of the faculty, provided that the selection is conducted by secret ballot in a session held in the Central Administration under the supervision of the President.
10- The faculty secretary shall organize a record of the voting process to be signed by the General Secretariat and ratified by the President.
