Article 53

Students who do not sit the final written exam of the first session of a course, whatever the pretext or reason, will receive zero points. However, if the student does not sit the final written exam in the second session for compelling reasons or force majeure (death of a family member, emergency hospitalization), a make-up exam may be organized for them by decision of the university president, on the proposal of the faculty council and after consultation with the branch council.

Article 54

If the student fails one or more courses following the first-cycle exams, the continuous assessment marks for these courses are carried over to the second cycle only. If they do not sit the second-cycle final exam or fail the exam, they lose the right to benefit from the continuous assessment marks for the following academic year.

Article 55

A student who arrives late is not allowed to enter the exam room if they are more than fifteen minutes late, and no student is allowed to leave the exam room until thirty minutes have elapsed since the start of the exam.

Article 56

Any student caught cheating or attempting to cheat will be excluded from all courses for the session, subject to the provisions and laws in force.

Article 57

Students have the right to request verification that there are no material errors in their course grades within a week of the date on which the results of the course are announced. The examination board checks the student's exam paper under the supervision of the dean or director of the branch or center and in the presence of the head of the relevant department. If a substantive error is found, the grade is adjusted by consensus of those present and their signature on minutes as proof.

Chapter 6: Miscellaneous provisions

Article 58

A student may be considered administratively enrolled in the second year of a bachelor's degree if they obtain at least thirty-six (36) credits through successful completion or exemption, or both. A student may also be considered administratively enrolled in the third year of a bachelor's degree if they obtain at least ninety-six (96) credits through successful completion or exemption, or both.

Article 59

Academic guidance teams are set up in each branch and center of the FLHS by decision of the dean of the faculty. They are responsible for guiding students academically and facilitating their transition from one specialization to another or between the different specializations of the faculty.

Academic guidance is part of the duties of the professor who is a member of the committee and is not counted as part of his or her teaching quota.

Article 60

A student may be transferred from one branch to another within the FLHS by decision of the dean, provided that:

1- Request their transfer within a period of fifteen days at the latest from the start of the course, with the exception of transfers to the CLT and the CLCS.

2- Hold at least 50% of the credits required to obtain the relevant diploma.

3- Approval of the administration of the two branches concerned and the dean after examination of the student's academic record.

Article 61

Theoretical courses are taught in a single classroom, while applied and directed work is taught in divisions of no more than 50 students (25 for the CLT and the CLCS), which allows the professor to monitor the students' work.

If the number of students academically enrolled in an optional course is less than 10, the course will be canceled, and students will have to choose another optional course.

Article 62

The tracks activated for the bachelor's, diploma or master's degree are determined at the beginning of each year by a decision of the Faculty Council. Existing specialized tracks may be activated provided that the number of enrolled students is not less than 20 students if necessary and after approval by the President of the university based on the recommendation of the Faculty Council.

Article 63

The study programs for the bachelor's, diploma and master's degrees of the FLHS are determined in accordance with tables (1) and (2) attached, and these programs are modified on the proposal of the Faculty Council and with the approval of the University Council.
