"Juicy Fregime" qualifies for the Regional "Hult Prize 2021" supervised by Centre MINE
The "Juicy Fregime" team of the Faculty of Technology (Branch 2) qualified for the regional "Hult Prize 2021 Challenge”, after winning over three other teams of the faculty in a competition organized by student Karen Chaar, on 11 December 2020, under the supervision of Centre MINE of the Lebanese University.
The competition was arbitrated by a specialized jury composed of:
- Hayssam Saab: CEO of "Park Innovation”;
- Jawad Haidar: CEO and Co-Founder of "Heatechs";
- Dr. Rima Fayyad: Professor at the Faculty of Technology (Branch 2) and Head of the IT Management Department.
The "Juicy Fregime" team is composed of students Raghida Merchad, Daniel Salloum, Salman Hassan and Raëd El Bacha who introduced the idea of creating a diet house with a varied diet.
It is noteworthy that "BOOM Wrapped" team composed of students Christine El Rayes, Leila Harb, Walid Abi Rafeh and Rim Al Aridi ranked second, and "Nutrition Bomb" team composed of Racha El Bitar, Darij Fayyad, Rouzba El Sayegh and Rony Zeitouni ranked third.
