Agricultural Engineer Diploma – Animal Science & Technology

The Faculty of Agronomy seeks to prepare qualified human resources to support sustainable agricultural development and preserve healthy ecosystems through scientific and applied research.

The Faculty contributes to rural development and community service through productive and on-field activities, to solve agricultural and environmental problems and monitor food safety.

Description

This program aims to educate and train agricultural engineers to acquire the necessary qualifications in the field of developing and increasing animal production through scientific methods and modern techniques.

Upon graduation, the Agricultural Engineer will be able to manage and improve the processes used on farms (nutrition, reproduction, disease prevention), control methods for producing animal products, and conduct research to develop breeding and production methods.

    245,000 LBP (Lebanese/Palestinian students) and 995,000 LBP (Non-Lebanese students) during the academic year.

Requirements

General conditions + special conditions

  • Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) to the 1st year Agricultural Engineering;
  • Oral interview
  • Equivalency of certain courses (subject to the Faculty Bylaws)
  • The files of students of the Lebanese University - Faculty of Agronomy, who are eligible to pursue this diploma, are studied and selected according to their grades, on condition of completing two years and Semester 1 of the 3rd year in General Agricultural Science.
  • The files of students of other faculties of the Lebanese University or other universities, are studied, on condition of completing a minimum of 3 years in Agricultural Science, Biology and Biochemistry;
