The Faculty of Information adopts curricula in line with the communication revolution and technological development worldwide. The curricula include media sciences, technology, general culture, languages, etc.
The research center at the Faculty includes a department for studies, research and documentation, and a center for media training.
This specialization is based on the combination of information technology and basic knowledge and skills related to the organization, processing, retrieval, dissemination and maintenance of information.
This program has several objectives compatible with the sector of libraries, archives and other information centers. It also includes the basic aspects of the profession of libraries and archiving, such as organizing information, developing methods of retrieval, and enhancing students' technological skills, in addition to the benefit of institutions, companies and banks from archiving and data management.
