Description

Accounting and auditing are the processes of recording, analyzing and classifying financial statements in order to obtain financial information that helps the management to make necessary decisions.

The accounting and auditing major provides students the know-how to:

  • Record all kinds of accounting entries to monitor financial and economic transactions related to all types of organizations;
  • Calculate costs, profits, expenses and other accounting values and evaluate financial and operating activities;
  • Comply with Lebanese tax laws and policies;
  • Establish companies, maintain, analyze and study budgets and all types of account financial statements, in addition to preparing the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement;
  • Develop an audit methodology that includes audit tools and techniques, sampling, planning and risk calculation.
