PhD in Biochemistry from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in 1981;
Master of Advanced Studies in Chemistry from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in 1980;
Bachelor in Biology from the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University in 1977.

Professional Career

Lecturer in the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Public Health of the Lebanese University since 1984;
Director of the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 2) between 1992-1993, 1998-2008 and 2010-2012;
Head of the Departments of Nutrition, Psychomotricity and Speech Therapy at the Faculty of Health (Branch 2) at the Lebanese University for several years;
Member of the Scientific Committee of the Faculty of Public Health and its Curriculum Update Committee between 2004-2014;
Member of “QuaLab” Quality Control Committee in the Syndicate of Clinical Biology in Lebanon between 2000-2005;
Member of the Lebanese Standards Institution (LIBNOR) between 1990-1992;
Lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Food at Saint Joseph University / Kfarfalos - South Lebanon between 1982-1983;
Author of dozens of scientific, medical and environmental research and studies published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
