  • PhD in Political Sociology majoring in International Relations from the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) and the Paris Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in 1978;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS);
  • Bachelor and Master in Political Science from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Information (Branch 2) of the Lebanese University in 1983 and Director between 2006-2012;
  • Worked in the field of journalism in Paris and Beirut between 1978-1990;
  • Author of publications and articles on politics, social sciences and international relations.
