PhD in Civil Engineering/Geotechnics from the National School of Bridges and Roads, Paris in 1994;
Master of Advanced Studies in Soil & Structure Mechanics from the Central School of Paris in 1991;
Diploma in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 1) at the Lebanese University in 1990.

Professional Career

Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering (Branches 1 & 2) in 1995;
Director of the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 1) between 2015-2018;
Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 1) between 2013-2015;
Member of the Central Committee for Inspection & Control of the Lebanese University Buildings since 2007;
Member of the Central Committee for the Guidance of Scientific Research at the Lebanese University between 2007-2009;
Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects - Tripoli since 1993;
Worked at the Central Laboratory for Roads and Bridges (LCPC), France between 1991-1994;
Participated in a number of research programs at the Lebanese University, with the National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS-Lebanon), and the Lebanese-Syrian Research Cooperation Program;
Author of papers and research studies published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals in the fields of civil engineering, concrete recycling and bridge maintenance.
